Chelsea + Ryan are getting married next Summer at The Blackwell House Hotel.  We met for the first time for coffee to chat wedding details before their session. Their awesome Canadian accents were charming, and their love for eachother even more so.  They love the beauty of our area so much they are having their wedding here instead of in their homeland, Canada.  Enjoy a peek at this cute lake side session in the lovely downtown Coeur D’alene, ID.

What an amazing June wedding; the colors, the culture, the love, the rare sunny westside day.  Diviya + Jobin are some of the sweetest people ever and their wedding was a true reflection on who they are as a couple.  Diviya’s laugh is contagious and freeing.  The whole day I was just smiling photographing her. Not to mention their reception was off the hook! I mean who is cool enough to have the portland rap band , Beautiful Eulogy play at their wedding.  Straight up awesome guys!  I wish you both a truly joy filled life together.  I know there are incredibly great things ahead for both of you.

Tomorrow is Sarah and Euclides’ Weddding day.  How the time has flown these past few months!  I am off to beautiful Lake Chelan tomorrow to shoot their special day, but here is a look at their engagement photos in Seattle, WA near Lake Union.  I never can quite get over how pretty the greens are on the westside of the state.  Read  the sweet and amazing story of how these two met below.

While Sarah was serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in a small community in rural Paraguay she never thought she’d meet the man of her dreams. Both Sarah and Euclides were attending a wedding in their town when Euclides asked Sarah’s friend if she would dance with him.
She obliged and they danced for a few songs. Sarah thought the whole time, this good looking man can’t be from her town because he was too good looking and she would have remembered him! A few months later Euclides got up the courage to text Sarah. They started to get to know each other and in August of 2011 they started officially dating.

From that moment on they were inseparable and enjoyed many adventures around Paraguay, but also enjoyed Sunday family lunches and snuggling during rain storms.
Sarah left Paraguay at the end of her Peace Corps service with the intent to do whatever possible to reunite with the love of her life.
11 long months later and after mountains of paperwork and visa requirements, Euclides had his visa in hand and they were able to finally be together.
Now in America, Euclides first time ever, they have enjoyed discovering all America has to offer and the new life they are embarking on together!

It had been a while since I had photographed a maternity session. But the evening I spent with Joe and Maureen made me fall in love again, the light, the flowers, the joy of expectancy. Enjoy a look at their sweet photos. These two are so cute and so in Love. I am more than excited to meet little Abe when he arrives in August. Congrats Guys!
